It’s that time of year again when kiddos are getting ready to head back to school. Here in NC, most schools start next week, so I thought I’d made a back to school themed project. Nothing says back to school like a backpack!
While spending my usual ridiculous amounts of time on Pinterest, I ran across several backpack projects which sparked my memory of a few years ago when I made one of these cute little suckers. You can see that post here. Of course I didn’t put how I made it in my previous blog post nor did I have the instructions anywhere. Luckily I was able to figure out how to make it again and have recorded a video on how you can make one yourself.
So as promised, here are the measurements for the backpack (all measurements are in inches):
Cardstock – 9 1/2 x 5 1/2
Score on long side – 1 1/2, 4 1/2, 6, 9
Score on short side – 1 1/2
DSP for layers (2 pieces) – 3 7/8 x 2 7/8
DSP for backpack top – 3 x 3 1/2
Score on long side – 1 1/2, 2
For box on front of backpack:
Cardstock – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
Score on long side – 1/4, 2 3/4, 3, 5 1/2
Score on short side – 2
DSP for box top – 2 1/2 x 3
Score on long side – 1 1/4, 1 1/2
Thanks for stopping by and hope you liked the project today. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and youtube channel.
