Hello all you strangers!  I am back to stamping and creating.  It is so exciting to be back and boy have I missed getting inky.  My new craft room/office/guest room is wonderful.  I have so much more space to store my supplies and to create projects.

I am still getting settled but was able to get some stamping done this weekend as I needed to whip up a birthday card for a very dear friend.  I finally got to do some watercoloring with a new stamp set I had ordered a while ago – Remarkable You.  I love the images in this set and knew they would be perfect to watercolor.

Excuse the messy background for the picture but like I mentioned I am still getting settled.  I need to set up my photograph light box so I can take better pictures.  The colors I used for this watercolor piece were Wild Wasabi and Mossy Meadow for the stem; then Watermelon Wonder and Hello Honey for the flower.  I added a wash of Tip Top Taupe to the background adding a lot of water so that you only get a hint of color.

I also colored some of the leaves that come in this stamp set and fussy cut them out.  I did not end up using them for this card so I’ll have to come up with another card to use them on.
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get back to regular posts and get a video taped this week to share.
