Hi there stampers!  Today’s card features one of the watercolor pieces I did while at the beach over Christmas.

I used the Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew to stamp the flower outline image several times on a piece of watercolor paper using Versamark ink.  I then heat embossed the flower images with white embossing powder.  I colored in the images using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set.  This watercolor set is just amazing.  The colors are rich and creamy which makes beautiful results.

I heat embossed the birthday sentiment on some vellum cardstock and layered that on top of the watercolor piece.  I did not want to take away from all the watercolor work I put into this card so thought vellum would be perfect.  I then layered the watercolor piece on a card base made from crumb cake and added 1/8 inch strips of wisteria wonder cardstock on each side of the watercolor piece.  I love how this card turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
