Happy Holiday stampers! Today kicks off my 2016 holiday card series featuring videos and projects for the Christmas holiday season. Today’s card is a quick and easy card featuring several die cuts from several Stampin Up thinlit sets.
I embossed a piece of whisper white cardstock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder from Stampin Up. I then cut out the different dies shapes using several thinlit sets: Swirly Scribbles, Birds & Blooms, and Pretty Pines. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set using Versamark ink onto some crumb cake cardstock and heat embossed it using gold emboss powder. I then cut down the sentiment and adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals.
The entire panel was adhered to an A2 top folding card base made out of real red cardstock. The red card base really helped to make the bird pop. To see more details on how to make this card, please take a peek at the video I made.
