Hi there stampers!  I have a fun and super easy technique for you today that gives the most stunning results.  I saw the one and only Jennifer McGuire feature this technique and immediately knew I wanted to give it a try.  I can’t believe how easy it is!

#inkresist technique with #glossycardstock featuring the new #stampinup ink color #highlandheather

You start with a piece of glossy cardstock and stamp images with Versamark ink.  You heat set your stamped images with your heat tool and then apply ink over the entire piece of glossy paper.  I used my ink pad to just spread ink over the paper and then wiped off the excess with a rag.  It is THAT EASY!

For the above card, I used the new Stampin Up ink color Highland Heather and the leaf images from Rooted in Nature stamp set coming out in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  The sentiment is from that same stamp set and was stamped onto vellum with Versamark ink then heat embossed with gold emboss powder.  I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and adhered to the card front with tiny pieces of dimensionals.  I then colored some rhinestones with my Stampin’ Blends and added those to finish off the card.

Go grab that glossy cardstock and give this technique a try!  It really is super easy but keep a rag handy as this technique can get a little messy.
