Hi there stampers! Today I have a couple cards to share along with a video. If you follow my Instagram account, then you might have saw I took a poll on my IG stories asking about these cards and which die cut design was preferred. Well I decided to make both even though the white die cut won the poll. So onto the cards for today…..
Both cards feature an ink blended background using a handmade mask I made with the plastic backing from one of my photopolymer stamp sets and the Eclectic Layers Thinlits. I cut the plastic down to 4.25×5.5 and then cut out the diamond shape multiple times using the die to create my mask. I then temporarily taped the mask onto a panel of Whisper White and inked several ink colors. The card with the white die cuts features Blackberry Bliss, Pineapple Punch, Calypso Coral, and Bermuda Bay inks. The colored die cut card features Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, and Coastal Cabana inks.
After inking the background I then adhered the diamond white die cuts to one card and colored the diamond die cuts with the same ink colors for the other card. Each gives a different look and I can’t decide which I like better? I then adhered a die cut sentiment from the Celebrate You thinlits to the front of each card.
