Hi there stampers!  It’s another challenge week over at TGIF Challenges and this week features the product spotlight GLITTER!!  Who doesn’t love putting glitter on all the things?!?!  I thought to myself, do I use glimmer paper, sequins, embossing, or all of the above?  I decided on all the sparkly things.

I was looking through all the new goodies I ordered from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and realized I had not yet used the Pop of Petals Bundle so that is where I started with my inspiration for this card.  I used one of the flower images from the stamp set Pop of Petals and stamped in several rainbow colors – Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue, and Highland Heather.  After stamping all the flowers, I used the coordinating Four Petal Flower Punch to cut them all out.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and added ink splatters in the same colors I used to stamp the flowers staying in rainbow order.  I then splattered some clean clear water onto the panel and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  Did you know that embossing powder will stick to water, just be sure to heat from the bottom so that the embossing powder doesn’t blow off.  After the panel dried, I started adhering all the flowers with dimensionals keeping to the rainbow order.

I cut out the sentiment using the new Thank You Thinlit out of gold glimmer paper and also cut out two additional sentiments from Thick Whisper White.  I glued all three layers together with the glimmer paper on top to give the sentiment some weight.  I adhered this to the front of the flower panel along with some gold sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.  I then adhered this entire panel onto a layer of more of that gorgeous glimmer paper which was adhered to a top folding A2 card base made from Thick Whisper White.
