Hi there stampers!  I have a stunner today for you using the Blended Seasons stamp set and new colors of embossing powder.  Did you know how gorgeous coloring images with your watercolor pencils can be especially on dark cardstock?  Well, that’s what I did for today’s card.  I started with a piece of Basic Gray cardstock and heat embossed the floral image from Blended Seasons with the new Grapefruit Grove embossing powder.  I stamped and heat embossed the image in two of the corners.  I then colored the images with my Watercolor Pencils using both sets that.  The new set will be released to customers to purchase on August 1st and will be sold until supplies last so you’ll want to get yours on August 1st so you don’t miss out.

Used my #watercolorpencils to color the foral image from #blendedseasons stamp set on a basic gray cardsdtock that had been #heatembossed with #grapefruitgrove

The key to getting your coloring to pop on the darker cardstocks is to first color the images with the white watercolor pencil and then fill in with the colors.  After all my coloring was done, I heat embossed in white the sentiment onto a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock.  I adhered this to the front of the card and then adhered the entire panel onto a top folding A2 card base made from more Basic Gray.
