Hi there stampers!  So big oopsie that my card for this week’s TGIF Challenges is a little late.  It has been a crazy week at my day job and so many things in life getting in the way of stamping.  As the saying goes, better late than never right?!?!  This week’s challenge is a color theme using So Saffron, Poppy Parade, and Pacific Point.

I decided to use the leaves from the Blended Seasons stamp set and create a fall inspired card.  I can’t believe it is already August and the leaves will be changing before you know it.  I stamped the leaf cluster using Versamark ink onto some watercolor paper and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I then used my ink pads to create a palette for watercoloring by smooshing the ink pad onto my craft mat.  I watercolored the leaves with the three colors from the challenge this week and then fussy cut out the images with my paper snips.  I die cut a piece of vellum using the coordinating framelits called Stitched Seasons and then heat embossed the same leaf images onto the die cut. I turned the vellum over and colored the back of the leafs with Stampin’ Blends so that the color shows through the front of the die cut.

This week's card for #tgifchallenges features a color theme of #poppyparade, #sosaffron, and #pacificpoint colors. I am in love with the new #blendedseasonsbundle that is now available to customers starting August 1st.

I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake using the Subtle Embossing folder and added some ink splatters with the same ink colors used to watercolor the leaves.  I then adhered the vellum die cut onto another die cut of the same shape made out of So Saffron cardstock and adhered this to the embossed panel.  I added the leaves using dimensionals and added some gold sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.  I adhered the entire panel onto a side folding A2 card base made from So Saffron cardstock.
