Hi there stampers!  This week for the TGIF Challenges we are challenging you to use those punches to create a card.  I decided to use the Cat and Leaf Punch for my card along with a brand new background stamp called Buffalo Check.

I started with a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock and used the Buffalo Check background stamp which is new in the 2018 Holiday Catalog to stamp the background pattern using Crumb Cake ink.  I then stamped the leaf from the Painted Harvest in Granny Green Apple and used the coordinating Leaf Punch to cut the images out.  I then used the Cat Punch to cut out the cat image from Very Vanilla and embossed the punch shape using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

My card for the #tgifchallenge 174 features the #catpunch and #leafpunch along with the new #buffalocheckbackground stamp from the #holidaycatalog.

I stamped the flower image using Mango Melody from another new product from the 2018 Holiday Catalog called First Frost and used the coordinating framelits called Frosted Bouquet to cut out the flower.  I added some shadowing to the flower with Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint (also new in the holiday catalog) and then splattered some of that same shimmer paint onto the background panel.  I also added some splatters of Frost White Shimmer Paint.

I then cut out a piece of vellum using the Stitched Labels Framelits and arranged my punch shapes and flower onto that die cut.  I added some Gold Thread and adhered the focal piece to the checked background panel.  I heat embossed in gold the sentiment from the Stitched All Around stamp set.  The entire panel was added to a top folding A2 card base made from Sahara Sand cardstock.

My card for the #tgifchallenge 174 features the #catpunch and #leafpunch along with the new #buffalocheckbackground stamp from the #holidaycatalog.

Get out those punches and play along with us this week!
