Hi there stampers!  For this week’s TGIF Challenge, we are featuring a Pick a Pattern theme using Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I decided to use the absolutely gorgeous Botanical Butterfly DSP from the 2019 Saleabration catalog and you can get this paper FREE!!  Yes, free with a qualifying order of $50 or more.

I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits from the 2019 Occasions Catalog to cut out a piece of the Botanical Butterfly DSP.  This DSP is gorgeous with one side featuring colorful butterfly designs and the backside is black and white.  I decided to color the black and white design using a bunch of Stampin Blends but left the butterflies black so that they popped from the colorful background I colored.  I then used the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits to cut out three small butterflies and the larger butterfly that I layered over the butterfly in the DSP design.

My card for the #tgifchallenge #196 that features a DSP challenge. I used the #saleabration #botanicalbutterfly dsp and the #butterflybeautythinlits to create my card. I colored the DSP with a ton of #stampinblends.

I used the Well Written Framelits to cut out the sentiment “friend” from Basic Black cardstock and embossed Grapefruit Grove embossing powder along the bottom of the sentiment.  I then colored the butterfly die cuts and the top of the sentiment die cut with my Wink of Stella to add extra shine.

I then layered the colored DSP panel onto some Grapefruit Grove cardstock and then this was adhered to a top folding A2 card base made from Basic Black cardstock.  I then adhered the die cuts to the front of the card to finish it off.

I hope you play along with us this week at TGIF Challenges and see what DSP inspires you!
