Hi there stampers! Whew, it has been way too long since I created a card and I’m so sorry for my absence. I have been sick for three weeks now and had some work travel that kept me from stamping. I’m back this week with a card for the TGIF Challenge and this week it’s Sale-a-bration inspired.
I used the beautiful Lovely Lattice stamp set for my card. I started with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and stamped the image in Versamark ink. I heat set the image with white embossing powder. I then used several colors of inks to watercolor the image and the background. I used Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzaz, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Gray Granite, and Smoky Slate.
I watercolored one additional large flower and fussy cut it out using my Paper Snips. I then used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits to cut out the image and adhered this to a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I used the Subtle Embossing Folder that I had inked up with Smoky Slate to emboss a panel of Thick Whisper White. I then adhered all the layers together. I cut out the sentiment “friend” using the Well Written Framelits and added the card. I used my Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the popped up flower and friend sentiment.
