Hi there stampers!  This week for TGIF Challenges we have a product spotlight featuring Stampin’ Blends.  I absolutely love Stampin Up’s Stampin’ Blends and they are so much fun to use in all types of projects.

I started by stamping the flower and leaf image onto some Thick Whisper White cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat setting the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I then used several colors of Stampin’ Blends to color in the images – Dark Bermuda Bay, Pool Party Combo Pack, Light Old Olive, and Soft Sea Foam Combo Pack.  I then used the coordinating thinlits called Beautiful Layers to cut out the images.  I also used the thinlits to cut out the geometrical shape from Gold Glimmer Paper.

I then used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits to cut out the black striped paper from Botanical Beauty DSP and added additional blue lines using a ruler and one of the Pool Party Stampin’ Blend markers.  I then layered this panel onto a panel of Pool Party cardstock and adhered this to a top folding A2 card base made from Basic Black that had been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I then added all the die cuts to the front along with the sentiment that had been white heat embossed onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I finished the card with some Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed Sequins.

I hope you play along with us this week and show us your creations using Stampin’ Blend markers.
